I have a 1999 232, it started overheating this year. So far, I have replaced the Impeller and the thermostat with no success.
The boat is fine at idle and when reved to 3000+ rpm, when moving the temperature is fine up to 2100 rpm, at 2200 rpm it starts to heat up and goes quickly to 212 F., when I stop and rev the motor it quickly cools down.
I have checked, visually to ensure there are no obstructions that would restrict water flow...
Any suggestions on potential problem or what to check next?
